Hello Wesley Chapel!

Hey folks in Wesley Chapel!! 

I am kicking off this blog, so that I can easily keep you updated on the progress of Your Neighborhood Coffee House.   We will link here for the time being from www.wesleychapelcoffee.com while we work on our site.  We are very excited to be opening in the near future.  We are working dilligently in getting all the approvals, plans and construction in place.  We cannot wait to welcome all the great folks here in the WC.  I really want to hear from you all out there.  If there’s a specific item, drink or treat that you’d like for us to have in your shop, please, please, please post a comment here or feel free to send email to info@wesleychapelcoffee.com.  We want to hear from you, especially if you live in the general area of the shop.  I promise that we will get back to you ASAP. 

Right now here’s where we are.  We’ve leased the space in the building that sits on Waxhaw Indian Trail Rd.  If you are facing the construction, you’ll see 3 buildings behind the Walgreen’s.  The first building will be a Dr. office and it is complete, then comes our building then another building the right.  We have the end unit and will be able to take advantage of the breezeway between the buildings for outdoor seating.

Our plans are complete and have been approved by JDH Capital (our landlords).  Our designer was Tom Palm of Design and Interior Layouts.  Our architect was Paul Lorenz and his team at Lorenz Architecture (big shout out to Lori Royster).  JDH has been really great so far to work with and we hope that the relationship continues.

We are searching for a general contractor now to assist in our build out.  We have a couple in mind and should be interviewing them soon.  We expect to have our keys sometime in February with May 09 as our target opening date.  I will be posting in the next little bit, more about what we are up to and what we plan to offer.  My partner, Melissa will be in charge of all of our beverage offerings, and is right now working on our menu of great coffee drinks, smoothies, shakes and other drinks.   I am working on the food menu and right now, we plan to offer  breakfast items, fresh made pastries, muffins and fresh local bagels.  All of our spreads and butters will be made in house and where possible we will use local ingredients. We will also be offering lots of freshly baked sweet treats and in the evenings we plan to some really nice plated desserts.  We will be offering lunch as well.  Our WiFi will always be free and we will have some type of special promotion going on every day.  Here’s some examples

• Momma’s Mondays – the mommies need a break, so come in for a nice coffee or tea and grab something sweet at a reduced price.
• Teacher Tuesdays– We want all the teachers and TA’s to come visit us regularly, but on Tuesdays look for extra special offers.  Don’t forget your School ID.
• Workout Wednesday – Going to the gym across the way from us?  Stop by before or after for a nice healthy fruit smoothie, with your choice of FREE add in (immune, boost, protein etc.)
• Thirsty Thursdays – All Large Size drinks are on sale.
• Free Fridays – TGIF – we put the pastry case on sale with lots of 2 for 1 offers.

As you can see, we will be offering lots and lots of great things and there’s more to come.  But the one thing that I want to offer is our guarantee.  We guarantee, to have the best and freshest coffee in Wesley Chapel NC and we are willing to put our money where our mouth is.  We know that you have a choice,when it comes to coffee, especially now with Panera, McDonald’s, Starbucks and Dunkn Doughnuts all coming to the area or already in the area.  While we many not always be the cheapest we are better and we will prove it.  Here’s how:  Bring a same day receipt from any of Wesley Chapel’s coffee vendors mentioned above, we will make our version (in a regular or small size) of that drink for you for free!!  That’s right, for no charge NADA.  (limit one per customer)  Just try us!  We know that you’ll like what you find and we hope that you’ll become a regular friend and neighbor.  After all, this is Your Neighborhood Coffee House!!
